Creamfields

Power Logistics has delivered a sustainable project management and consultancy service to Creamfields North in 2021 and 2022 and Creamfields South in 2022. We have provided all site and show power, along with site lighting.

An experienced team of electricians and crew, headed up by senior project manager, Alex Cameron, are onsite throughout the event’s build, show days and de-rig to ensure a smooth install and uninterrupted power supply throughout.

With 11 stages in total, busy production areas, crew catering, various campsites and several sponsor activations, along with numerous bars and concessions, over 100 generators ranging from 20 kVa to 550 kVa are required throughout the site. In addition, almost 25km of LED festoon lighting and more than 100 towerlights are installed to provide the required site lighting.

With sustainability high on Festival Republic and APL’s agenda, all sites are powered by HVO fuel, including towerlights and plant equipment. All generator sets are synchronised for optimal energy usage.

Further sustainable initiatives included the use of 300kw battery packs for crew catering and camping, bunkabins and tour buses. For the first event in August, our bespoke power monitoring system was deployed throughout the Daresbury site, collecting valuable data about energy usage. This data was then used to make informed decisions about the power plans for the 2022 events.
