League of Legends tournament

Power Logistics has been working with global production company ConCom Inc. for five years providing temporary event power consultancy and services to the highly successful League of Legends tournaments. Most recently the company has been in action in Athens, Berlin, Madrid and Paris for the world finals.

Organised by Riot Games, the video game developer and esports tournament organiser, the events bring together thousands of video game fans as they are packing out venues and arenas across the globe.

Services delivered by Power Logistics include the provision of power for lighting, sound and projection equipment, along with OB trucks which capture and broadcast the live shows. Power is also required for the servers that the game is built and run from which is obviously vital for the smooth running of the event, making Power Logistics the perfect temporary event power partner, given its exemplary track record.

For the majority of events, Power Logistics work with the in-house power, providing cabling and distribution equipment and crew required. However, for the event in Athens, given the unreliability of Greece’s power network, it also supplied two 500kva generator twin packs and a 275kva generator for the show power, catering and auxiliary requirements.
