Samsung Galaxy S5 launch

When Jack Morton Worldwide organised the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5 at the Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona (CCIB), February 24th, they chose Power Logistics to provide the electrical services for the event, dubbed ‘Unpacked 5’.

Power Logistics’ experienced team were onsite at the CCIB from February 16th – 27th supplying and installing all the cabling and distribution for the launch. From the registration area and 20 meeting rooms that required numerous sockets to the auditorium where power was needed for the lighting and audio visual equipment they worked with the mains power supply in situ at the venue.

In addition they provided more than 1000 metres of cabling for the exhibition area itself where they fitted more than 200, three way schuco sockets to nearly 50 exhibition tables. The majority of the power in this space was required for the security devices protecting the phones.

Nearly 2,000 delegates attended the unveiling of the device that has been available in more than 150 countries since April 11th
