Project Description

  Stage Lighting for two stages
Power for all areas onsite including stages, markets and giant inflatable animals!

Microfest is an annual company fun day organised by Microsoft , held at Thames Valley Park, their headquarters in the UK. The festivals opening set was performed by Alex Clare, who’s voice features on the latest TV advertisement for Internet Explorer, other artists taking to the stage included; The Noisettes, The Cuban Brothers and The Fun Loving Criminals.

This was the second year for the event and having been involved the previous year Power Logistics was able to provide the perfect power and lighting and package for the festival. We supplied 320kVA of backed up power along with cabling, distribution and stage lighting for both stages. We were able to utilise our stock of LED moving heads, par cans and battens to provide a highly energy efficient solution that delivered stunning effects. Our carefully designed stage lighting was both eye catching and colourful, complementing the overall look and feel of the site which included giant inflatable animals and leopard print big tops!

We chose Power Logistics to undertake our event power infrastructure and stage lighting requirements as in the 10 years I have been working with them they have never failed to deliver. They are unfailingly cheerful, efficient, reliable, reasonable and above all a total pleasure to work with.
