Solar power and Hydrogen storage are green energy fuel alternatives. Whilst traditional solar presents challenges due to its space demands and limited output, we’ve developed rapid-deploy, scalable solar solutions that work with our batteries and other generators. We’re using hydrogen fuel cells, linking small to large systems for zero-emission power. While hydrogen storage requires care, these innovations offer reliable green energy alternatives.
In an event environment that is typically short term it is difficult to gain the largest benefits of a solar powered system. Solar arrays can take up expansive amounts of space with small power generation returns.
We now have rapid deployable and scalable solar solutions that work in tandem with all our batteries. They can also be used in conjunction with any of the other generating technologies, including Green D+ powered generators.
We can also provide solar lighting towers, however as they take up a considerable amount of space and a reduced number of units can fit on a truck vs 10 – 14 LED diesel powered units. The solar towerlights are normally deemed unsuitable for short term applications when considering the carbon footprint and cost of transport.
In smaller applications Power Logistics make use of solar on items of equipment such as mobile fuel bowsers with light duty pumps.
Hydrogen fuel cells are an area of green power generation that is rapidly evolving. We are currently communicating with a number of fuel cell manufacturers and integrators. The Hydrogen lighting towers are a similar size to standard lighting towers however do not have additional power available for powering items such as cabins.
