Quotations
When we prepare our quotations for our clients, we will continue to meet the needs of our customers, as our ultimate goal in providing them with our service, but within the quotation the client will be given the freedom of choice of which fuel could be used for their event. The choices are :
- 100 % Bio diesel
- 5 % Bio Diesel
- Standard Red Diesel (Gas Oil)
- Ultra Low Sulphur Gas Oil
Monitoring and Evaluation
Power Logistics Ltd will monitor each event and record the amounts of fuel used at each event so it can make comparisons year on year ,and therefore trend its performance in supporting the global challenge which we all face.

We will work with our suppliers and support them as a partnership, to develop ideas and ways of working to make further synergies within our supply chain which will help our environment, and reduce our carbon footprint.
In house
Power Logistics Ltd aims to optimise the use of its transport fleet, by planning its logistics to minimise the amount of miles which its fleet will cover when it is working on behalf of its clients. This is achieved by forward planning and incorporating the number, and the amount of vehicular movements to and from the clients site. Where possible, “backhauling” will take place to optimise the effectiveness of each journey.
All company vehicles are procured to run on Diesel fuel as their fuel source and currently we are running the entire fleet Bio Diesel (5%), a higher percentage will be used, as and when it becomes readily available on the market.
Within the warehousing and head office operations all products going down the waste stream will be re-cycled as much as possible, such as wood ,oil, paper,cardboard plastic and copper, and all of our light bulbs are of the “energy saving” specification.
