Power Logistics was formed in 2001 by Beverly and Pete Wills, who are widely respected for their understanding of customers’ needs and the logistical challenges presented by major events. The company has supplied power all around the globe, from large events to small private occasions, leading to an international reputation as one of the leading temporary power providers for concerts, festivals, parties, corporate, sporting and one off special events.

At the heart of Power Logistics’ success is continued investment in people and equipment. The company has expanded rapidly since early 2006 and this has attracted some of the industry’s top specialists in temporary power. We also have a highly successful Apprenticeship Scheme in place to attract young, talented individuals to the event industry. Our range of stock and equipment is extensive and added to on a regular basis, ensuring that we always have the very latest products to meet our clients’ requirements.

The company was born out of the “show must go on” ethic that prevails in the live music industry. To this maxim Power Logistics has added “on time and uninterrupted”. We provide reliable temporary power, air conditioning, heating and lighting solutions to some of the largest and most prestigious music, corporate and sporting events in the UK, Europe and worldwide. Our experience ranges from providing uninterrupted power to broadcasting companies such as the BBC and Beijing Outside Broadcasting to the planning and facilitation of major events that include the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and London’s New Year’s Eve Celebrations, with which we have been involved for over ten years. Our flexible and reliable approach has also allowed us to provide services for our trusting client base in challenging locations such as Oman, Qatar, Hong Kong, Singapore, Maldives, Turkey and Russia.

We maintain a whole host of equipment and services in house; from a fleet of dedicated event generators, suitable for use with bio diesel, to our extensive stock of mains cabling, distribution and lighting equipment. In addition we also have the facilities and expertise to fabricate new products, as well as adapting existing equipment to meet a client’s specific requirements.

Adam joined Power Logistics just over a year ago and is responsible for seeking new business opportunities. His role includes meeting clients and suppliers, producing quotations, marketing and social media and generally making everyone aware of how fantastic Power Logistics is. New to the event industry, Adam has enjoyed meeting new people and learning about the amazing array of events produced.

Alex Cameron

Senior Project Manager
Alex has worked with Power Logistics for over 8 years, joining the business full time as a project manage in 2011. Having graduated from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a degree in Stage Management & Technical Theatre. Following his graduation Alex was a freelance project manager working on a range of small festivals and corporate projects. A key part of Alex’s role is account managing Power Logistics’ Jockey Club contract. As well as this Alex works on several festivals during the summer, corporate launches and key Christmas events. Alex is a problem solver with a creative side, particularly for lighting projects.
Ami Cowee

Ami Cowee

Project Manager
Ami joined Power Logistics in 2013 as a project manager from a background in industrial and construction power. Having Ami qualified as an electrician over 10 years ago, her extensive experience sees her take up the role of ‘Duty Holder’ for Power Logistics’ NICEIC Approved Contractor status. Ami oversees all permanent installation work Power Logistics carries out. During her tenure, Ami has project managed numerous large events in Europe, including several product launches for Samsung in Barcelona and the next generation Scania launch in Paris in 2016. In addition, Ami has also project managed show power for events such as Electric Daisy Carnival.
Dan Pratt

Dan Pratt

Senior Project Manager
Dan joined Power Logistics full-time in 2008 after working as a freelancer for 3 years. Following his appointment, he successfully completed an electrical apprenticeship and gained extensive mechanical knowledge about generators, working alongside Adrian Jones (our Head of Service) at our premises in Chippenham. His vast knowledge of site and show power has recently seen him managing Barclaycard British Summer Time in Hyde Park, Winter Wonderland, Bestival and Common People. As a champion of sustainable initiatives Dan has played a key role in the research and development of our power monitoring services. Most recently, Dan has been developing strategies to increase the use renewable energy to power certain areas of festivalsites, such as LED lighting and alternative fuels.
Ian Peniston

Ian Peniston

Senior Project Manager
Ian started working with Power Logistics as a freelancer in 2007 with a background in stage management and technical theatre. In 2011 he joined the business full time as a project manager. Ian is a qualified electrician and during his tenure has worked on a wide range of projects and tours across the globe. This includes, managing the delivery of The Asian Football Cup 2011 in Qatar, held in five stadiums and being the touring electrician for Queen & Adam Lambert throughout 2014, 2015 and 2016 across North America/Canada, Europe, South America, Asia and Australasia. He has also been involved in theopening and closing ceremonies for the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Luke Evans

Luke Evans

Project Manager
Luke has been working as a freelancer for Power Logistics for more than three years and recently joined the team on a permanent basis. Luke’s background is in mechanical engineering and he currently working towards qualifying as an electrician. Luke has played an integral role in the successful delivery of Boardmasters, End of the Road Festival, New Forest County Show and Cheltenham Festival.
